POLITELY ASK THE SITE'S CREATOR TO TAKE IT DOWN.

GET A LAWYER AND SUE THE BEJESUS OUT OF THE SITE'S CREATOR.

SEEK VIOLENT REVENGE AGAINST THE SITE'S CREATOR.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT, AND MAKE ANONYMOUS POSTS LIKE, "ACTUALLY, S/HE'S A VERY NICE PERSON IF YOU GET TO KNOW HIM/HER."

SEE IF THE SITE SELLS MERCH, AND MAYBE PICK UP A T-SHIRT OR A COFFEE MUG.

SOMETHING ELSE OR NOT SURE.

First finding out who that person is, sending an agent to be there friends, lure him/her into bad things while me relaxing, giving them more ammunition everystep of the way, (but if they uses any of them it's a trap for a suit).

Getting a lawyer and sueing for defamation And mental harrasment.
Proving every good thing I did in my life and all my failures, proving the jury (if there is a jury)
That yes mistakes where made but if I did something bad to them yes you can put me in jail if not then I should get compensation due to the harrasment, and damage to my chances of getting employment.
(Oh if they plead I will give them another chance, and most probably be there friend, but won't ever truly trust them)
Then getting all the money which can be awarded. Half to charity, half in my retirement fund.
Then get a job somewhere just start anew.

First I’d stay calm and not take it at face value. I’d try to understand who made it and why, because online spaces can be biased, exaggerated, or even trolling. If it’s based on misunderstandings, I’d reflect on any real feedback I can learn from. If it’s just harassment or unfair, I wouldn’t engage emotionally, I’d report it, protect my privacy, and move on. I can’t control what people say about me online, only how I respond and behave going forward.

No, not really. Getting angry or seeking revenge wouldn’t change anything, it would only make it worse for me. I’d rather stay in control, understand what’s actually valid criticism, and ignore or report anything unfair. Reacting emotionally gives it more power than it deserves.
No. If I reply with insults or get into arguments, it can actually create legal problems. So I prefer not to react emotionally or escalate things.

No, I’m not a psychologist or counselor. But I have a very high degree in an academic field , and I’ve read and analyzed topics in psychology and sociology as part of my own research (in another field) which is why I’m able to discuss them from an informed perspective. No matter that my research was in a different profession, it included chapters related to human psychology.

I’d probably take it a little personally at first, rejection sensitivity and all. But they have the right to freedom of speech, same as I do. As much as I might not enjoy hearing it, I don’t have to listen to it. And honestly? Wearing one of their shirts that says “I HATE (My name here)!” sounds like a really fun idea lol

I would shrug, smile a bit, and continue with the rest of my day. I stopped caring about what most people thought about me a very long time ago, and it was the best thing I ever did. Now I just have to live up to my own high standards, and almost entirely for myself. There are only a handful of people whose opinions I care about, and everyone else can suck it.

Back in the day , prior to Internet we had the
' I hate Dave Bennet club ' which was promoted on radio with paid subscriptions.

If the website was complete BS with 100s of followers , I'd have to go down the legal route.

lol. i'll read it. see if there's something i should probably actually consider working on. and then do that or if it's nothing, just move on with my day. at the end of the day it's freedom of speech and if someone thinks i'm an asshole, they're free to think and say it. i see no reason to act upon that.

I think it really depends on what's being said and if it's affecting my personal life without me ever bringing it up.

I'd ignore it at first but if it's interfering with my daily life then at least one of those things will happen.
