Who would rather encounter: A lawyer or A Journalist?

I've never had any contacts with journalists. But I don't think they'd be particularly interesting people to hang out with. They have a role to play for sure. But I just don't see them as very stimulating minds.

Lawyers on the other hand, I hang out with all the time. I've found them to be largely great critical thinkers, honest, and very quick to read and understand complex issues then propose novel solutions. And unlike the assertions of some people here, I've found attorneys have always counseled me to consider the fastest cheapest resolution to a dispute or a contract. That's usually a negotiated settlement. And it has almost always been the right choice even if I didn't like it much, 🤣. I consider a good attorney to be that voice of reason who is a somewhat disinterested 3rd party with a cool head. It's not what they do in court as much as what they do to keep me out of court!

In my world, an attorney only comes into contact with me via personal recommendation from someone I know just as my clients only know me because some mutual friend put us in touch. It's a very carefully curated world where there are personal consequences for crossing boundaries. I'm not just flipping through the phone book and picking an attorney at random. It's how deals get done. Trust. It works for the most part.

If they're both people with good morals, I'd take the journalist. I'd rather deal with an inquisitive person than someone trying to beat my logic with everything. It's the same reason I wouldn't date a lawyer. Too masculine for my liking.

A Journalist is Much easier, As a Lawyer, is Know if that Lawyer Upgrades Himself to advocate..

He can be a much bigger trouble for me!.. a Journalist you can push aside and reply them with a silence..

As an advocate I know I can summon anyone to court regarding any legal matter and can force them to speak up in court!

So an Advocate as an Opponent is much Worse, a Journalist is Clown of the show as compared to an Advocate!

It's even much Easier to pay the Boss of the Journalist to Relocate him, or Bribe the Journalist to turn a blind eye!

I've learned not to trust lawyers. I've met too many in my life. Not that I ever needed one, but they usually were designated by clients we had. They may paint a better outcome if it suits their pockets. Make a process unnecessarily long, so they can keep asking for their client's money.

In the streets, randomly, probably a journalist, because I associate lawyers with business schools students. And, by default, I don't get blend well with such socioeconomic profile, they tend to have worldviews I want no part of lol

Politicians, Journalist, Lawyers, Police, Telemarketers, used car salesman and anyone who rings me on a phone who has an Indian accent. I'm never happy to hear or see these people and I never trust any of them.
