This is a quote by Marie Curie. Although these words were spoken years ago they still very much make sense in today's world. Do you think life is hard for everyone? If not why not?

There are people on here who seem to be perfectly happy and doing just fine. In fact better than fine.

All I can do is speak for myself and say that my life has been harder than most people's lives that I know.

My best friend from high school is very happy with her life. She became a grandma to two healthy identical twin girls a few months ago.

She got married in March and went on cruise ships 🚢 ships to 5 Polynesian Islands.

They're always busy going to Paris and other countries.

My life is nothing like hers.

I always knew this to be true but recently these words ring heavily in my ears.


My recovery is taking a lot longer than it should have and I’m all in on exercising the leg now.
It’s like punching a wall over and over and hoping it moves out of the way.
My knuckles hurt, I’m tiered, I look horrible most days. But here I am still at it


The sheer will it takes to push through that is something that cannot be taught or conveyed.
It changes a person.
