It is, but there's a lot that makes it hard. Comparison is the root of it. When we see other people with things we don't have, we assume their life is better than ours and we tend to focus on that. When you go on social media and see people posting the good parts of their lives... their success in career, their wealth, their love life, etc... although you're happy that they're happy, you can feel envious.
Think about it this way. If you live in a primitive village secluded from the world and never knew about any technology or luxuries people had, you wouldn't have anything to compare your life to. You'd just be focused on the simple things in life. The simpler you live your life, the happier you'll be.
And on another note, I feel like there are too many women who have a hatred towards men and their standards are too high. Either that or they're just afraid to fall in love and potentially be hurt emotionally. That prevents them from ever finding the companionship they desire, even if they've convinced themselves they don't desire it by pushing it deep down within themselves. But we all desire companionship. It's human nature.
I used to feel very happy until a few months ago. I don't know how to get it back. It was the kind of happy that wasn't about anything in particular, I just felt happy inside.
It might have started when I got my heart broken, and the government is going to go fast and free through all of our bank accounts. Stuff like that piles up, and before ya know it, that happy feeling is gone!
If you think of true happiness as resilience, deep connection, and a sense of meaning, it’s not only possible; it’s happening every day to millions of people. The fact that some people fail at it says more about them than anything to do with life itself.
There were hardships in every age, not just today. But yes, people can always find happiness, even if they are ill or poor. Happiness is a state of mind and it is possible to find it in simple things.
yes its possible to be happy, I don't know about truly
Absolutely. Try to have it come from within, thats the best way to feel it in my opinion
Yes, but happiness come from the inside and from the ability to see beauty
Absolutely.
Yes, for some it is.
