What do you think about America and Iran making peace?

Why did this war start and why did it end? I think it was a very senseless war.

It’s a good idea to eventually get it settled. We don’t want war we don’t want problems. it’s that we’ve had many problems with Iran over the years. They have taken 50 of our People US hostages in the past. Then Ronald Reagan became president of the USA and they released them all instantly but for the past 47 years, they’ve been wishing death to America. and they’re trying to get their hands now on nuclear technology. We don’t want them nuking other countries or the USA so we want to sign agreement deal that they won’t get any nuclear weapons or any nuclear technology. We don’t have a problem with the Iran citizens it’s the government that is the problem because we’re having the World Cup ⚽️ in America in Iran is playing in America and they’re nice and safe. We just want to have peace and be happy with everybody

They claim it was about Iran developing Nuclear Weapon when they agreed that they wouldn't. Also the claim they were funding all the terrorists groups in the region and also terrorists groups that have already have Cells here in the US.

There is no peace deal yet. The U. S. and Iran have merely agreed to a temporary ceasefire while they discuss a peace deal.
But Zionists and neocons in the U. S. don't want peace and will be exerting maximum pressure on Trump to prevent it. And Israel will do everything in its power to sabotage a peace deal.

There was no reason for the U. S. to attack Iran in the first place. It was not developing nuclear weapons even though Netanyahu constantly warned for the past three decades that Iran was days or weeks away from having them. This is ironic considering that fact that Israel has a secret nuclear arms program and hundreds of nukes and has not signed the NPT or allowed any inspections.

Iran had never even attacked anyone. Israel, on the other hand, has been attacking its neighbors and stealing land for 60 years.

Iran never did anything to the U. S. except for seizing our embassy and temporarily holding the staff hostage in 1979 when Iranians kicked out the Shah who was a puppet dictator that U. S. installed after the CIA coup that ousted the democratically elected president in 1953.

By the way, speaking of attacking the U. S., it was Israel that deliberately attacked the USS Liberty with the intention of murdering every seaman (witness) on board and sending the ship to the bottom of the sea.

By the way ISIS is Mossad. Notice how it attacks Israel's enemies but never Israel. And Israel provides it with medical treatment.

Israel has a blood liable against Iran because Iran supports the resistance against Israel's expansionism, brutality and genocide.
Every person with a modicum of humanity should agree with Iran on that point. In fact, Israel should suffer the same fate as Nazi Germany.

Cowardly Israel started this war by assassinating Iranian leaders and killing civilians.
I don't know why Trump got involved other than the fact that he is Israel's bitch.
But far from getting it's ass kicked by the U. S., Iran caused huge damage to U. S. bases, assets, communications and aircraft. It bombed the fuck out of Israel. It shut down the Strait of Hormuz, showed the gulf states that they can't rely upon the U. S., and made the U. S. look weak in the eyes of the world.

These talks are not Iran surrendering. They are Trump trying to save face.

Peace between nations should not be about mere convenience or the comfort of the status quo. If they find a way to align, it must be for something greater than avoiding conflict or securing temporary ease. True progress is measured by an objective shift toward a higher order, not just the absence of friction. Anything less is just another attempt to settle for a lower standard of existence. If this leads to a resolution, it should only be because it serves a purpose that transcends the mundane interests of the world. Real stability is found in pursuit of a standard that rises above common greed or shallow pride.

I think it was a necessity to degrade Iran's military abilities, proxies and prevent them from getting a nuclear bomb. Most of that has been accomplished, and if the peace talks continue its likely we will see their nuclear program stopped in its tracks. If Iran agrees to those demands it would be a significant concession. It could also quickly collapse into war again.

1 i wish it was true. 2. because iran did piracy at sea many times included February 2026 tried to stop an American ship. iran has tried to kill and killed americans in 2023 and more. this battle already ended when iran stopped firing. i think June 12? but not peace yet.

Nominally it was Iran coming very close to making nuclear weapons but I think it is more to do with positioning China so it cannot start a war. Iran, having nuclear weapons, fitted within the China umbrella anyway.

China is now minus two core allies with Russia destroying it self in Ukraine. In my external Indo Pacific view it was very good and correct geopol.

A war with China would be disastrous. Hopefully the US has pysche'ed China out of war.

The war has not ended. This is only a provisional ceasefire. In the memo of understanding is not a treaty. Shia Islam had apocalyptic. They want to conquer and subdue all infidels. The want to destroy Israel and subdue the USA to do that and they have said so and were developing a nuclear weapon and ballistic missile to do that. The war is about protecting civilization. And is by no means over. To be more specific, they want to prevent Iran from turning Melanie31 into a crispy critter.

It didn't help the USA or the world at all. It made everything worse. There was a reason Iran never was attacked before now and Trump found out. It is best to make peace and do as much damage control as possible to limit the financial harm to the US.
