Are LGBTQ people treated as special in society, and should they be?

How are we treated specially? Hell it took until 2015 before we could even legally marry! The poor Trans community is being targeted by several goverments as being threats. People even fight about even gendering them correctly and make a huge debate over pronouns even being used. People are removing/burning books about LGBTQ from libraries.

They talk about us pushing an agenda and yet they are the ones trying to eliminate any traces of us. They even want to repeal the legality of me being married to my wife.

So no, we aren't treated specially in a positive way anyway.

No but they want achieve getting status quo of holly cows. When you just dare to reveal really smallest dose criticism towards one of them, you will know they are radicals like Muslims or Jews.

They are but the shouldn't be. I have no problem with someone choosing to be LGBTQ, but I do have a problem with it being shoved in everyone's face 24/7 with everyone acting like it's something special.

Not by me. Recognizing equal rights for them does not constitute treating them as special. It means treating them the same as everyone else. Since when is equal unfair or special?

Most minority groups are given benefits in western society. I dont believe it's necessary if you truly believe in equality. Instead, most push equity.
