Are you for age limits? 30 to 75 ? No more than 50 years?

I voted Yes for 75 then realised this was an American question. In most other countries retirement age is set where as the USA it seems unlimited for highest court judges

I am opposed to term limits because serving as a justice, like many other public service positions, is something which requires some time to learn and to develop, and term limits make sure that we are always eliminating the people with the most experience and institutional knowledge.
I am opposed to age limits because they are unfair to many older people who are still quite sharp, cognizant, and very competent.
If you want to start implementing mental tests to qualify for retaining a public position, why not require mental tests before issuing drivers licenses or allowing young people to purchase alcohol? This will become a slippery slope once you start down that path.
Can you cite an example of a Supreme Court Justice who lost their faculties but continued serving? There are other ways to confront this problem directly without imposing unnecessary requirements that are burdensome to all, and which also introduce the potential for bias in eliminating justices for political purposes.

Term limits, absolutely. Age limits? No, I don't think so. There is no evidence that age is a factor.
