  In my country, military personels and officers aren't allowed to vote until they retire and become again ordinary civilians...

  @Iron_Man you're welcome, it's because there's a rule that bans the military in it's all kinds to interfere in politics since our country is built on multiple religions, the military must stay on the same distance towards everyone, not allowed to support someone against another and not allowed to interfere in politics...

Yes, its normal in my country.
They mail in the voting pass to every eligible voter automatically. You can only vote in person or authorize another person to vote in person on your behalf (Up to 3 people per voter so harvesting is not possible).
Then once you show up or someone shows up on your behalf your own ID is presented as proof you are who you claim you are. They match your ID with the voting pass you bring and then you get handed the ballot you can cast your vote on.
All votes are counted by hand, voting machines got banned due to security concerns many years ago.
These hand counts are handed in to a computer, but also documented and published along with the digital count so you can analyze for yourself if the computer processed it correctly and if it all got entered correctly.
Pretty water tight system, as secure as you'd realistically be able to get it at least.

Nope. I can identify as whatever sex, race, or animal I want, so I can vote as my neighbor and his pets too.
Now, if I’m in need of an emergency room I will have to provide a LOT of documentation before I get past the front desk.

I have my proof of registration, but it doesn’t actually function as identification. I have always had to show my driver’s license or state ID in order to vote. I always took my registration card but never had to present it.

don't think I have one, but could be wrong. Last time I voted in us elections was 2020, but mail-in and my mom took care of all the logistics of it.

Yes I do and i use it often to many of my ancestors died so that I could vote. So me using that right and choosing the best candidate is my way of showing them and the world that their sacrifice wasn't in vain

I live in a democrat state so there is not voter ID requirement. They let anyone vote.
