Should the US deny visas to pregnant foreigners to stop birth tourism?

If the Supreme Court is going to preserve automatic birthright citizenship, then the government should use every lawful tool available to prevent birth tourism. Denying visas when there is reason to believe someone is coming primarily to give birth is not sexism; it is immigration enforcement.

This policy would not be about punishing women for being pregnant. It would be about preventing people from using pregnancy as a pathway to secure automatic U. S. citizenship for a child. A sovereign country has the right to decide who enters and under what conditions.

Too many loopholes.
A woman can arrive on a student visa and remain indefinitely as long as she is enrolled in college. She can get pregnant here. She doesn’t have to arrive pregnant. 😂😂😂
This is a fact of “illegal” immigration that is often overlooked, particularly by conservatives. They tend to imagine brown marauders surging across the border and stealing everyone’s jobs. 😂😂😂
A lot of people arrive through perfectly legitimate and legal means, but overstay their welcome. These are the ones that the left is particularly distressed about because they are going to skool and/or working and functionally assimilating. They just also happen to be the easiest ones to track down because they did establish a paper trail to come into the country.
The nameless and faceless geeks smuggled in by coyotes are near impossible to track down by comparison. They can take day labor and contract work so they don’t leave the same paper trail. I have recently come to the conclusion that the food delivery apps are enabling a great many illegal immigrants undocumented work. I would be very interested in seeing the results of an insider investigation into those companies specifically.

We can live with that. The idea is to not give any incentives like a lifetime of free welfare on the taxpayers dime. Once that happens the practice will stop.

considering normal airlines do not allow pregnant passengers- that is a really good solution. part of the airport entrance process should start being: need to check "weeks in pregnancy and length of stay." or must turn back. also-
