All this talk about blue states never hold criminals accountable etc.. Then explain why A few of them do have capital punishment. Let’s see… Texas, Karmelo Anthony was given bail after committing murder. He gets 35 years for his actions. By the way, Texas isn’t a blue state.

In Michigan, he would’ve gotten life with out parole. Purple state by the way. How about we stop with the political B. S and just admit our justice system is far from perfect. Are we at a point to use politics as some scapegoat? It’s getting stupid

Frisco is a blue zone in Texas. He was also a minor when he murdered. So capital punishment was immediately off the table. They do execute retards there though. So it will be interesting to see if this outcome results in a faction of voters pushing to include minors.
Furthermore, every blue state with capital punishment is currently holding moratorium on the death penalty. So that argument is nonsensical.
The fact is that political alignment frequently makes policy decisions in any given state extremely predictable. I know you lefties like to pretend that pattern recognition is somehow intrinsically immoral, but the alternative is literally willful ignorance. Go ahead and play dumb if it makes you feel superior. I, for one, will stick with the facts.

Oh, and the Michigan supreme court recently ruled that life without parole for minors is unconstitutional. So that supposition is also erroneous.

yes, the justice system is flawed. It is run by humans and they are far from perfect. The legal system is complicated and can be influenced by money, public sentiment and politics.
