I have everything I could reasonably want. I don't need "more". I don't want to be consumed by an obsession for more money. I don't want the attention it brings. I donlt want to be owned by the things I have amassed. I'm perfectly happy with my freedom to move through life anonymous and invisible to go where I want, when I want, interacting with whoever I want or no one at all.
What bothers me is the fact that some people ARE obsessed with wretched excess and obscene consumption. They are detached from the rest of humanity. They become monsters who see themselves as entitled to use their wealth to plunder more wealth by any means no matter the consequences to other people. It becomes a mental illness. Megalomania? Narcissism? Sociopath? Psychopath? Whatever you want to call it.
Would letting it bother me make me magically richer? It's not productive. Elon and the Amazon guy and Bill Gates and whoever else having more doesn't have much of an effect on my life. I do well enough and that's all I can do.
Only folk like TRILLIONAIRE Elon Musk's impacted wealth he swindled from God knows how many folk, while homelessness reigns in the world's wealthiest country bothers me.

I do the best that I can. I don’t think about that. At least I have a nice house all paid off my friend lives in efficiency. But my property taxes are high

that is expected. only a few people take risks that succeed. musk took risks and lost tons on tesla and spacex but now he is making it back.
