In the United States, does anything really matter besides money?

People are willing to live and die for money. They go to prison for money. They get married for money. They get divorced for money. They have children for money, and they kill themselves for money. They spend their lives doing business or committing crime just to make money. Does anything else really count?

The US is one of the easiest country in the world to make money. I'm not American but I've been doing business in the US for most of my adult life. I set up offshore companies and pay zero tax on everything I make in the US. It kinda sucks if you're American and have to deal with the IRS but it's super easy and advantageous for foreigners.

Yeah, it's really easy. That's why we have literally millions of homeless people on the streets in this country.

in u. s. the major emphasis is family. people do everything they do- for family. the chase of money is just a tool for family. in fiction criminals risk death for money. but that is fiction. find me a country any country that people don't try to get money. norway? china?

You can tell how important family is by the rising divorce rate. Divorce rate is high, with divorces mostly filed by women for money. You can tell how unimportant money is in the US by the increasing number of reported financial scams and the fact that even our President is a financial criminal.

Yes or no. Everyone's sense of value is different. And it's kind of hypocritical given the fact that most people in the Eastern world want to immigrate to the US

They want to immigrate because they think they can make more money here. They find out that they can't, or that they can, but it requires them to work their lives away, and they often decide to go back to where they came from.

I think the ones that come here to the United States care a lot about money. I can't think of another reason that anyone would want to come here, quite honestly. Either that, or they are seriously naive and they've swallowed all the American propaganda and they soon find out it's just a pack of lies...
