Regardless of how much oil the US produces, oil is s global commodity. So, when there are problems with the global supply, like say when some orange dipshit starts a war he can't when, then oil prices rise.
Do I genuinely think there's going to be gas lines? Not necessarily. That was hyperbole. That doesn't mean the price of gas won't continue to rise, though, until the "great businessman" extricates himself from the mess he faceplanted into.
