Did President Trump really say he wants war with the Islamic Republic of Japan?

What Mr Trump said, I've no idea, the more he said so many doubtful things, but what I know for sure is that, in case some people really wonder, Japan is not an Islamic Republic. If I'm not mistaken, in Japan the most common religions, and/or philosophies, are Shinto, Buddhism (Zen for instance), Catholicism and Protestantism. No idea what Mr Trump meant to say, but who cares actually?
