Racism seems to be inherent in all cultures and I doubt it will ever disappear from any society. The goal should be to eliminate institutional racism.

There is racism everywhere but it’s not systemic as is claimed. Right now in the U. S. there is racism against white people. Especially white men, but also Muslim, black, Asian…. You name it.
We actually had less racism 30 years ago. People were color blind. I grew up NEVER thinking about race. But now…. The left does everything possible to drive a wedge between white and black people.

We are not goodie two shoes we have racism, and we try to fix the problem, but it is not something that can be taken care of easily; it has been a work in progress and will be an ongoing fix for a long time.

Well, that is certainly true in the South. Half of the USA never practiced slavery.
Also, many slave owners in the US were black themselves.

It'd our fault for poor education. It's been more geared towards activism for many years. Many Americans don't even realize slavery was commonly practiced through the world. Some literally believe it was created by white people. It's a convenient way for bad faith actors to get sympathy and support in political movements.
