Why am I being blocked from Trump administration jobs despite strong referrals?

i’m not super well connected, but I do have a couple people well liked by Trump who either work with him currently or have in the past. I’ve also got a pretty substantive résumé for a certain area of job that I’m going for. whenever these people recommend me for positions with the administration they’re getting nothing back feedback wise, and nobody who does hiring is reaching out to me. There seems to be people there who really don’t like me. Despite the fact that I’ve got a couple very respected people who are vouching for me. And the fact that they don’t even want to give me a serious consideration, what the hell? Unless I got to tell Trump this face-to-face, I don’t see a way around this. The people who are the gatekeepers seem to hate me. And they won’t tell anyone why.

You're doing it all wrong. First you have to completely humiliate yourself by praising Trump for all the impossible things, like ending ten wars, having the best economy since 1776, being the smartest president evarrr, etc. Then you have to get picked up by the pundits of the two or three TV channels that Trump watches and take it up another notch. Lastly, when you get invited by Trump, you have to present him with a gaudy golden tchotchke that you just invented for him, say, the Presidential Eagle Scout Price, or something.

The people who vouch for you…. Are you sure they are putting in the good word?
Don’t you think that everyone who currently work for the administration has nieces, nephews, brothers, uncles that all want jobs?
Trump doesn’t do the actual hiring… the people you claim to know, might know Trump but don’t know the people who actually do the hiring.
What special talent would you bring to the White House? A talent that they can’t hire anywhere else?

There are only a limited number of jobs and they are so lucrative and have amazing benefits that there are literally thousands of people applying for them. I applied for a job with the local Federal Courthouse and it was an amazing job and even though it came with a horrific commute every day I would have take it if I was hired. I thought the interview went well and I was invited for a second interview. Ultimately I did not get the job, A muslim woman was hired nd I am a middle aged white guy,
