What measures do you think need to be taken against human overpopulation?

Really think this through. Our current population is over 8 billion people. Our resources cannot sustain that number for even another 100 years.

Actually we can just we have to adapt how we do it. Though the adaption is a problem that's highly complicated between two concepts.
The rich run this outcome as we live under capitalism therefore they have two positions, adaptions as such costs a lot of money and needs to be found to be profitable but it will be a loss to change it all and maybe never as profitable. Capitalism thrives on scarcity such adaptations would be loosing that.
So then comes the thought of lets keep the scarcity the same but lower populations... this however makes the scarcity less anyway, and causes another core issue capitalism thrives from more people not less. Simply more consumers vs less.

Basically it puts the rich one two negative paths for them and they'll be at odds with each other which is the best route to take. Also there is a 3rd really, them just carrying on until its too late however whatever happens after that? Well its chaos.
And honestly this be likely cause a lot can't see past their own greed and don't bother to plan for such thing as they go by assuming they don't have to worry about it until its too late.

Reality is nobody knows but big changes will be coming that's for certain if we aren't all dead anyway.

There is absolutely NO evidence of any shortage of any kinds of resources. There’s plenty to go around, if we stopped allowing a tiny percentage of the global population to own and control everything for power and profit.
There’s currently a greater concern about the historically low numbers of people who refuse to marry and have children. In your fantasy, everyone would be breathing a sigh of relief at this fact.
The capitalists are very worried about there being enough cheap labor to make their crap and enough consumers to buy it.

We not only have to have less people, we should discourage Reverse Darwinism. People on welfare get more money the more kids that they have, This incentivizes having more kids that taxpayers have to support. Some households are second and third generation welfare recipients.
