Tariffs aren’t illegal. The courts decided the law Trump was using was the incorrect law. As soon as the courts decided on that case Trump put the tariffs back on using the law the Supreme Court said he could use. Now he just added more tariffs under a different law.
Again tariffs aren’t illegal they just need to be implemented using the proper law.

@Asker Supreme Court Rules Against Tariffs Imposed Under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). Again tariffs aren’t illegal every other country out there puts tariffs on us. It just shouldn’t have been implemented under the IEEPA.
SCOTUS Pointed out that the ruling might not truly constrain future tariffs because other laws—such as the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 (Section 232), the Trade Act of 1974 (Sections 122, 201, and 301), and the Tariff Act of 1930 (Section 338)—still authorize presidential tariffs.
So the Supreme Court gave Trump the means to reinstate tariffs that trump can impose without issue.
