What do you think of people who block others for their political views or after a political debate?

if it’s over politics & good faith then it’s kinda weak just to block someone i think😅😅 but if someone’s “political beliefs” include racism, misogyny, hate etc, then i can understand why they would get blocked🙅🏻‍♀️

I would think they're a bit smaller minded. A debate is a debate, respect eachothers opinions and move on ✌️

It depends on the debate. I try to avoid that and have no problems with someone not agreeing and having different views, but if someone gets aggressive and only responds with insults instead of proper arguments, then I don't need to waste any more time and energy on those people.

I've been blocked by just about every political fuckwit here. Never argued with them, just destroyed their nonsense with simple logic and get blocked everytime.

I'll express an opinion and listen to others point of view but don't see point in long debates.

@purplepoppy I’ve noticed that you don’t argue with anybody hardly and if somebody even puts you down, you don’t answer them back. You hold your tongue and you have good will power. I did see one pink Anonymous tell you I don’t like you and to go away and you said no problem I have plenty of followers. I thought that was funny, but I’ll give you good credit. You’re strong willed and you can handle people coming after you.

Those who block you when they run out of arguments are just admitting defeat.
That’s how I see it.


The only time I would use the block button is the debate turns into relentless spamming of personal attacks and cheap attempts at bullying.

I think it's fair to block if you are being harassed or personally attacked.

If it's because they have different opinions than you have then you are just a small, weak person. Same goes for religion, sexuality preference for dogs vs cats, yada yada.

For the record, I have no-one blocked currently.

If the other person hasn't resorted to insults, profanity, or disrespect and is having a civil discussion, but still blocks someone just because of the debate, I'd see them as narrow-minded and too afraid to engage with opposing views.
