If Greenland attacks , Trump will say they attacked for no reason and then use US military to occupy Greenland , basically a false flag to take them over. This is why Trump had to rape women , because they rejected his advances and why he forced sex on 14 year old girls. They could not resist. He is a typical bully like in the movies , that takes advantage of weaker people one at the time, so he can't be stopped. Grennland said Trump could not have oil. Greenland said no to US taking them over. The people voted , it is called Democracy. The US used to believe in it. Now we just steal resources from other countries and we invade and murder their children. We also take their14 year old young daughters to use for sex , then throw them out like trash when done. He is trying to be slick about it. There is an energy company based in Texas called "Greenland Energy". They have already shipped and put onshore in eastern Greenland something like 15 shipping containers full of pre drilling equipment without Greenland's permission. When confronted they essentially said "oopsie" and the containers are being allowed to sit there for the moment. Greenland Energy meanwhile is talking up it's intention to obtain a drilling permit and send the other 300 containers full of equipment needed to drill on soverieign Greenland territory. Greenland has stated that they will never allow drilling. Oddly the Texas energy group has contracted with a media group with ties to Dr. Phil McGraw which intends to produce a documentary about this and the drilling they expect to commence.
They are going to pull the trick that Trump always pull. We're already here and you can't stop us, so... just like he already drained the National Park Service budget for Yellowstone etc. to fund all his pet unapproved mall and whitehouse projects.
There's nothing he cares about or won't destroy.

If Europe didn't defend Greenland then Trump would soon target other countries. Governments might want to cut a deal but the public wouldn't tolerate it.

@msc545 Not really. Trump tried to seize Venezuela's oil but no oil company was prepared to go out there and extract it, even with infrastructure already in place.
Well that's the good news. I didn't realize he was unable to extract it. What I heard was that it was extracted and he sold it and it put the money in his own bank account. That might have been oil that had already been refined and was waiting for sale.

Well, they've already risked their careers by following a lot of illegal orders which is in contradiction to the universal code of military Justice. They could be court-martialed for not following the code.
I expect there to be a certain legal gray zone in many military situations, but invading/attacking a NATO ally is pretty much beyond sanity.
