it is so vast! each country stretching back thousands of years! but i did well in school history and also i have read a lot. i probably know more broadly than "history- professors" in their limited time and place expertise.

i probably know more than most high school students. before you all forgot history.

@itss_lily. Ultimately, he could well turn out to be worse than 9-11 in the long run. 9-11 killed what, 3000 people? The number of people killed by Socialist regimes throughout history (keep in mind, Socialism has never, even once, worked) is exponentially more than that. Iran's theocratic government has already executed anywhere from 30,000 to 40,000 people this year alone; it's not my fault that the media won't cover it.

I think much of this comes from Marxism. It's difficult for leftists to accept their perceived oppressed groups (Muslims, blacks, women etc) can be oppressors themselves.

I actually lived in Tehran, in 1969/'70. Attended kindergarten and first grade. Nicest house we ever had, marble staircase, etc. They dug a swimming pool for us in five days. Things were a lot different over there back then.
