No. That would require every country to have the same economic standards, social rules, and laws. That's not possible due to geographic and climate differences, as well as size and availability of natural resources. Every country is different. Yes, similar countries can get together for a common currency like the Euro, but that's a special case.
Besides, I collect currencies as a hobby. I have more than 200 separate currencies in my collection. Where would the fun be if there was only one currency?
Nope. Floating exchange rates cushion economies against macroeconomic shocks. If the value of the stuff you produce and export falls then you need to pay lower wages. People don't like being paid less and with a fixed exchange rate the only way to force them to accept lower wages is through periods of high unemployment. Or you can just let the exchange rate move to change the value of their wages automatically.
The inconvenience in travelling between countries has been largely resolved by card transactions anyway.
Inflation becomes a problem. The euro has a problem with Greece at one point. Do you bail out Greece at the detrimental Inflation of all the other countries and Greece can't print it's own currency to mortgage out of this problem. It's awkward to say the least.
Too many cooks in a single giant kitchen. Better to have multiple independent opportunities. Efficient compared to effective tools.
Economically this would be great for rich nations with high GDP and industry output but disastrous for nation with low GDP. This is partially visible in Eurozone, even though industry output difference between Bulgaria and France isn't that high like between US and Chad.
NO, but I like my idea of having REGIONAL currencies, like the EURO. For example, Central America should have one currency. The Caribbean should have one currency. East Asia should have one currency. North Africa should have one currency. etc, etc. That way if I want to country hop, I don't have to exchange currencies 4 times

No we need the opposite of that. Globalism must be completely crushed. A Global fascist state is the very lasy thing people need. There will be no where to turn.
It will never happen. Banks are never going to relinquish the fees and charges associated with exchanging currencies.
