I struggle with this, especially on the more shitty days at work. It’s not that I need to stay busy, but I need to have a bit of outside structure and purpose in my life or I definitely don’t feel good with myself.

I think if I was financially free enough to not have to work ever again, I would probably still work for the self satisfaction I would get….. but I would not work near as much as now. I would gladly transition into a PRN Princess any day.

Work is a very big word and I think many have tied work with jobs and paid labor, mostly done for other businesses, but work is simply just the effort done, can be for anything, and I think not working would be far more painful, if by work you simply mean work away for a rich corporation then no, I don't even do that now, I've decided to put those efforts into my own source of income that doesn't rely on someone else's strategic decision, I am aware that this decision will require investment and that will more than likely mean a lot of time and research without the reward of profitability in the beginning but I'm looking forward to the challenge.

People need a reason to be productive, it’s just how we are.
If things were made accessible we wouldn’t work.

But then things wouldn’t be accessible all of a sudden because it takes work to make that happen.

Yeah I would. I can't envision just sitting around watching grass grow. I'd go insane. I enjoy puzzles with no roadmap and problem solving with no precedent. I need constant stimulation. It's fun. And it makes me feel useful. I don't get the concept of retirement. But I do get the concept of putting myself in the place where I can choose who I work with, how much time I devote to a project, when I work, and how much i get paid. That freedom is really nice.

Depends on what it is. If my job is just to write opinions on GaG, game, workout, go camping, kayaking, travel, or anything else I like, I'd never stop working.

But realistically, I'd definitely stop.

Me, I would work…. Why not. If I was rich I could enough to. It have to work I would start a business and hire a couple of people to help. Yes I would work and work hard.
