Question

Asylum seekers to the UK are to be given a handbook on how to behave in the UK. This is in response to a few commiting crimes like rape because they didn't understand our ways.

But why only give them to asylum seekers? Why not legal migrants or tourists. In fact why not to men in general even if they're born in the UK?

I've seen a draft of a proposal that I find rather intriguing. If it comes to pass I should think that all Americans ought to recieve a copy as well. It is as follows.

To: The citizens of the United States of America:

In light of your failure to nominate competent candidates for President of the USA and thus to govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective immediately.

His Sovereign Majesty King Charles III will resume monarchical duties over all states, commonwealths, and territories (except Kansas, which he does not fancy).

Your new prime minister, Andy Burnham, will appoint a governor for America without the need for further elections. Congress and the Senate will be disbanded.

A questionnaire may be circulated next year to determine whether any of you noticed.

To aid in the transition to a British Crown Dependency, the following rules are introduced with immediate effect:

You should look up "revocation" in the Oxford English Dictionary.

1. Then look up aluminium, and check the pronunciation guide. You will be amazed at just how wrongly you have been pronouncing it.

2. The letter ˜U’ will be reinstated in words such as ˜favour’ and ˜neighbour.’ Likewise, you will learn to spell ˜doughnut’ without skipping half the letters, and the suffix -ize will be replaced by the suffix -ise. Generally, you will be expected to raise your vocabulary to acceptable levels. (look up ˜vocabulary’).

3. Using the same twenty-seven words interspersed with filler noises such as like, cool, and , you know is an unacceptable and inefficient form of communication. There is no such thing as US English. We will let Microsoft know on your behalf. The Microsoft spell-checker will be adjusted to take account of the reinstated letter ˜u’ and the elimination of -ize. You will relearn your original national anthem, God Save The King.

4. July 4th will no longer be celebrated as a holiday.

5. You will learn to resolve personal issues without using guns, lawyers, or therapists. The fact that you need so many lawyers and therapists shows that you’re not adult enough to be independent. Guns should only be handled by adults. If you’re not adult enough to sort things out without suing someone or speaking to a therapist then you’re not grown up enough to handle a gun.

6. Therefore, you will no longer be allowed to own or carry anything more dangerous than a vegetable peeler. A permit will be required if you wish to carry a vegetable peeler in public.

7. All American cars are hereby banned. They are crap and this is for your own good. When we show you German cars, you will understand what we mean.

At the same time, you will go metric with immediate effect and without the benefit of conversion tables. Both roundabouts and metrication will help you understand the British sense of humour.

9. The Former USA will adopt UK prices on petrol (which you have been calling gasoline)-roughly $10/US gallon. Get used to it.

10. You will learn to make real chips. Those things you call French fries are not real chips, and those things you insist on calling potato chips are properly called crisps. Real chips are thick cut, fried in animal fat, and dressed not with catsup but with vinegar.

11. The cold tasteless stuff you insist on calling beer is not actually beer at all. Henceforth, only proper British Bitter will be referred to as beer, and European brews of known and accepted provenance will be referred to as Lager. South African beer is also acceptable as they are pound for pound the greatest sporting Nation on earth and it can only be due to the beer. They are also part of British Commonwealth – see what it did for them.

12. Hollywood will be required occasionally to cast English actors as good guys. Hollywood will also be required to cast English actors to play English characters. Watching Dick Van Dyke attempt English dialogue in "Mary Poppins" was an experience akin to having one’s ears removed with a cheese grater.

13. You will cease playing American football. There is only one kind of proper football; you call it soccer. Those of you brave enough will, in time, be allowed to play rugby (which has some similarities to American football, but does not involve stopping for a rest every twenty seconds or wearing full kevlar body armour like a bunch of nancies). Since only 2.1% of you are aware that there is a world beyond your borders, your error is understandable. You will learn cricket, and we will let you face the South Africans first to take the sting out of their deliveries.

15. You must tell us who killed JFK. It’s been driving us mad.

16. An internal revenue agent (i. e. tax collector) from Her Majesty’s Government will be with you shortly to ensure the acquisition of all monies due (backdated to 1776).

17. Daily Tea Time begins promptly at 4 pm with proper cups, never mugs, with cucumber sandwiches, high quality biscuits (cookies) and cakes; strawberries in season.

Or... countries COULD actually enforce immigration and especially asylum laws, to prevent immigrants from breaking asylum rules for economic reasons. International law, to which nearly every European country is a signatory to, requires that asylum seekers apply for asylum from the first non-conflict country they encounter. Traveling through 7 countries to arrive at the country with the most generous welfare laws and most lax immigration enforcement is a violation of asylum laws.

It also means that the chances are FAR higher that said immigrants have very different morals and values than in your country, which tends to lead to crime and conflict, which comes at the expense of the regular citizens of the country (but almost never at the expense of the elites who allow it). And that's why that law exists - but many countries don't have much interest in enforcing it because those immigrants are dependent on the government handouts that the politicians provide, ensuring that their votes will be virtually guaranteed (which is also why there is a big push to allow "everyone" to vote regardless of citizenship.

A book? Seems stupid to me
When they arrive in UK and got to mosque, the Wahabi Imam from Saudi Arabia will explain them that this book shows only what infidels fear at most and it's exactly what those new arriver should do. He will tell them, even if the go to jail there will be lot of Muslim brothers but in most cases UK officials are too afraid to punish them for rape or assault. They enjoy practically impunity while every Infidel who dares to put a hand on them will be harshly punished.
They maybe aren't mentally capable to develop quantum theories but they are smart enough to understand things a dog would understand too.

I agree with everything mentioned in this small book except for marital rape, i don't believe in marital rape and the consent thing in marriage is wrong, a husband cannot treat his wife like a stranger nor a wife can treat her husband like a stranger, i agree if they are not married, but marriage is something sacred between a man and a woman, plus they become a family, i'll never marry a woman who believes in this sh*t!

No wife would tell her husband no, unless there's harsh a reason for it, a husband and wife can never be considered like boyfriend and girlfriend or like strangers!

Even if he forced her to have sex, he will be punished for hurting her but not as rape, cause between a husband and a wife there's no such thing as rape, it's normal sex!

I have already explained it for thousands of times and even wrote a mytake on it on my previous account, guess what? The majority who had agreed and liked it are women 😏

Although at first sight seemingly silly, and although normally such educational topics should have been learned and taught at school, it cannot harm to make such a book available everywhere. Considering the low maturity of most humans and their egoistic behaviour, rubbing in some basics of good education might be an excellent idea: I mean to all citizens generally, not only immigrants.

Of course I know the educational problems of many immigrants living in difficult situations and not familiar with democratic values and habits of the West, and thus handing them such a book is not a bad idea in itself, but what about the language used?

I believe the the US army did this during WW2 to tell their troops local behavior they were expected to conform to.

Nonetheless the 'Battle of Brisbane' still happened between Aussie and Yankee troops.

So don't expect too much out of your Labor gov't handbook - it has an 85 year track record of failing and is a gov't initiative after all.

Quite probably the thought of raping would not have crossed most men's minds before they got the booklet. It is clearly provocative.

Maybe sexual misconduct? If the guy didn't mean harm by it and thought she was on the same page and she gave verbal consent then maybe sexual misconduct?

But yes, I agree the book will be helpful to a foreign to make sure he understands the rules and the culture.

In some countries, the laws are different and the communication is different.

In the USA making eye contact is normal. In South Korea people don't make as much eye contact. Or in some countries eye contact is seen as flirting.

So maybe a book anyone entering the country.

As for the men that live in the country I would assume they get it in whatever sex education classes they get there? I don't but I would assume by living there they would be aware of that unless they have intellectual disability or maybe serve autism.

Maybe hand them out to women too. I’ve never been asked for consent by a woman for anything, ever. Women have hugged me, kissed me, grabbed my butt and my crotch and had sex with me. Not once ever did they check with me for consent.
The consent conversation should end completely until people are prepared to include male victims and hold female offenders responsible in all of the same ways that we hold men responsible.

I think legally , you can't hold someone accountable for laws they are not aware of. This gets complex because most people assume everyone is familiar with their culture. It ain't so, Bucky. If I went to an Islamic Country on vacation, I would expect some form of instruction so I did not inadvertently do something that put me at odds with the locals.
