I'm pro life but if there's a harsh medical case or other stuff which causes danger on a woman's life and we are out of options than we need to do what needs to be done...
I also support that the abortion can never happen if the husband and wife together don't agree on it!
P. S: only when a couple are married, the husband has the right to decide with his wife, other than that, it's the woman's decision!
I would describe it exactly as you do.
But some time ago I had a pregnancy scare and the woman told me that if she’s pregnant she will abort 100%.
And I felt relieved. I didn’t wanna stop her.
I didn’t consider the life of the fetus more important than hers or mine
(She had some medical issues which would have been dangerous in the case of pregnancy)
After that I wondered if I’m fully pro choice.
I think:
Abortion is murder. But I’m pro choice as long as it’s fully admitted.
Accept that you are in fact killing a life, and chose to do it anyway.
But to deny it and pretend like there’s no life involved is just lying to yourself.

I agree with you and that is usually the law in republican states. If danger: mother is saved by abortion. But almost all abortion is just for convenience so the clinic staff needs to get watched with investigation!
for each abortion and punished when not for danger or a real victim of rape. I agree do not close the clinics but punish the staff as above.

Gee Tony, your "pro-LIFE" stance seems to come with a lot of caveats! It's almost as if there are a lot of situation and gray areas that don't have ANYTHING to do with the "life" aspect at all.
* For example, why are you ok with an unwed woman deciding to have an abortion if your aim is solely to protect the unborn? Why does she get special dispensation?
* Similarly, why does the husband have a say if they're married? Are you going to argue that he has ultimate control of her body because they signed a legal document? (I'm talking about non-religious based marriages here, not the way you think of spiritual, God ordained marriages)
It sounds to me you are much more pro "a woman's right to decide" than you want to admit because it might interfere with your religious doctrine?
I gave you a thumb's up because you made a lot of good points, except that i'm not saying that a married woman can't decide while a single woman can, i'm just saying that in a marriage a man has the right to decide for his child cause he is legally married and holding full responsibilities while a random guy or boyfriend doesn't have a say because he has no sacred or legal bond with the woman...
To me marriage counts a lot more from the sacred side, not the legal side, a legal paper doesn't make a spouse as one, do not make them a family, do no give them a holy blessing... etc

I appreciate your consideration of the points, and though I don't wish to get into a spiritual discussion of all sorts, because for starters, we don't agree on terminology. With that said, there is a question that the Catholic Church previously addressed about the idea of ensoulment. During the days of Thomas Aquinas, although he did believe abortion was always wrong, the consensus was a soul wasn't put in place until anywhere from 40 to 80 days, roughly 6 to 12 weeks. At one time, the 12 week period became the accepted norm.
My point here is, that these "norms" change with the times, according to church you affiliate with. From a Biblical scholastic point of view, I defer to those who study scriptures and the result is again, subject to interpretation. Some scholars say there is no specific instruction regarding abortion and those who site usual passages are simply fitting their view to the words and not that the scripture is not univocal on this. Some say it's specific enough. So once again, the point is that you can choose whichever "experts" view you like to validate your own viewpoint.

I don't trust people interpretations, i look at what Jesus says and since there's no clear evidence about when the soul will be found in an unborn baby, than i have to listen about whay science says about it since i'm a man of science too, i'll look at when this life begins, when this forming baby becomes truly alive, to me i think that as soon as the doctor declares that the woman is pregnant than life started to form inside...
We all agree that there is a life inside, a person who doesn't believes in a soul, doesn't also believes that a grown up human has a soul too, so there's no escape, whether you're religious or not, we all agree that there's a life, that's how we shall deal with it!
I'm not blindly religious, also i don't consider myselr to be that religious, i believe in god and follow jesus's teachings, that's it...

This statement " ... We all agree that...(there is a life inside)..." is simply not true. What you call a life is what someone else calls a developing embryo. What you call a baby is what someone else calls a fetus. And so on. Again, this is the discussion I don't wish to have.
The issue I DO have with "pro-lifers" who take that stance that it's a life from the moment of conception are the same folks who don't give a shit about that life once it's born into any kind of duress, hardship or poverty here in the USA. You're not here so you don't know. The "Pro-Life" people in the USA are by and large just "Pro-Birth", because they think it's their moral duty. Beyond that, they couldn't care less about the health of that birthed individual.
Than these people are just fake and using these slurs for their own benefits only, how? I don't know!
When you truly care about a life, you don't do it just till the woman give bith, actually the real work starts after birth, when i care about someone, i care about them before and after birth, till the last day!

Neither. I'm a supporter of life. In that sense i'm pro. I'm not going to pull any punches. Except in situations where it endangers the life of the mother a woman who gets an abortion she IS a murderer. But it's a quasi legal murder. Having said that, you're NEVER going to see me out there picketting an abortion clinic. But i do hope it is the absolutely LAST resort for a woman with an unwanted baby.
Personally, i think women should be allowed to get 1 abortion. And then if she comes in a second time she should be sterilized. That way this is never a problem again. She can f*** whoever she wants, as much as she wants. And another life doesn't have to pay the price for it.

I used to be pro choice. I really did not think too much about it. I do not know personally anyone that has had an abortion. A few years ago somebody I know gave birth prematurely. I visited the baby in thr hospital and he was very little and was in an incubator. Still he could squeeze my finger with his little hand. It was obvious he was already a little person. 4 years later he is a healthy person. I think that aborting somebody that is 8 weeks premature is murder.

I am pro-choice up to 3 months maximum, preferably way sooner. I am perfectly okay with the morning after pill. I am fine with chemical abortion that can be performed up to 10-12 weeks after pregnancy. I just don't want a fetus to suffer any fear or pain.

Pro-life? Yes, I believe we should support expectant mothers and ensure that they are able to house, feed, and clothe their children. I believe mothers and children should have access to needed medical care.
I am against the enslavement of pregnant women. I do not consider a 20 week fetus a person.

I’m all for it! I say ABORT, ABORT, ABORT!!! — The more, the merrier. IDGAF — There’s too many people already, burdening the resources and the planet broadly. I think they should give out freebie coupons like candy, everywhere (like at gas stations and 7-11) for free abortions. I support abortion. Not for my side, but they want to kill their kids... please, do it. Crime went down statistically with abortion. At the same time I don't want to pay for it... if they want to kill their kids they can front the bill.

I ususally hit the left and the right with a sour notes when it comes to my opinions about abortion, but I guess that's what happens when I originate my opinion without any of their blueprints.
Most western countries reached a suitable compromise decades ago but Roe vs Wade arrested the debate for you guys.
Maybe we should revisit though because it should a leg in addressing falling birth rates.

That sounds sweet, but in reality I wouldn’t be a loving person to be around if my baby was killed in my place. I would hope he’d know it’s not what I would want and would instead raise that baby to live to his/her fullest potential.

I actually don't know cause i don't live in the west, it's easy to say that it's okay for you to die to let your baby lives but to a loving husband, having his wife passing away, means he will be half dead, life for him will never be the same again, so personally i'll pick both, will try to save both to the last breath, no surrender, idc if she tells me to let her go cause i won't!
It seems like a lot of women feel the same way you do. I would be dead inside and not the same wife if I knew my child was sacrificed so I could prolong my life.

Does he get stretch marks? No.
Does he risk needing reconstructive surgery after having it? No.
Does he risk postpartum depression? No.
Does he risk having natal diabetes? No.
Does he risk permanent nerve damage? No.
So while he gets to discuss it, that's all he gets. We have the most to lose and we put in 100% of our physical health on the line. We get the final say. Period.
In both cases, you might suffer from any of these conditions, if he has the final say which is yes then the result is the same, if you say yes, same results and if you both say yes, same results too!
Better that both make the decision so that they both hold the responsibilities together...
