Look at this for FOOD imports that people need to EAT. "Foods Always Tariffed:
"To protect European farmers, for certain foods, Canadian exporters must pay tax (standard EU customs duties) on: chicken! Poultry and Poultry Meat, Eggs and Egg Products" they say good- "protect".
E. u. citizens don't protest "bad" for any reason. No protest: "Buyer in Europe will pay more" but when Trump adds tarrif they say "bad". But trump did SAME made tax tarif to PROTECT. did you notice?

Democrats have maligned this like to maligns all of Trump's pro America policies. They know that in time these policies will make America Great Again..
The EU protects their industries with tariffs, always have. China does the same.
Do people think Canada would allow cheaper lumber in?
Its only the US that has a free for all in regards to importing goods and exporting industries
My guess is there seems to be lots of smaller farmers there and maybe its related to the protests they've been having. Remember when they tractored in a bunch of shit to the center of a city?
I don't know much about it other than sometimes I see headlines of them complaining about stuff. So tariffs should make it easier for them to sell right?
