All I hear is men should provide and do xyz. Are women also held up to standards? What must they do? It seems very one sided like only men have to prove themselves.

'planning family events, and remembering important dates.' well series everybody loves raymond dramatized how false that is! in several episodes. the surprise birthday and more. gals COMPLAIN if we don't remember birthdays and anniversary. can i tell her 'honey that is your job'. they must do: nothing. I'm sorry that is all you are hearing. You are talking to the wrong men that are telling you this. Are we not held to standards of beauty and other superficial things?

Just take a look around this site for a while. You are new so it may take some time, but you will find people here making all sorts of standards of women from things like breast size to the look of a woman's vulva. What is more ridiculous than that?
