u 1 d@exitseven well I’m talking about the city because I’ve been there several times and I haven’t been to the other part of the state

The rest of New York is fine, the city is just crazy crowded and expensive, I live on Long Island and it’s much better here but the taxes are too high, just like California and the prices of houses but it’s nice in the summer with nice beaches
u 1 d@Likes2drive oh that’s good

2 dOh man, it’d be hard to say. By what metric (s)? I also haven’t been to most of them, so I only know what I know through my own accumulated knowledge and hearsay.
Have you been to California? I really liked it there, or Los Angeles and Long Beach, anyway; that’s the extent of what I’ve seen. If I couldn’t live in Massachusetts, I could see myself living there. Traffic is wild, but it is here around Boston too.
From what I HEAR? Sounds like Oklahoma, Arkansas, maybe Mississippi are not so great to live in. But I’ve never been to any of the three, so I wouldn’t say it with my full chest.
I really liked Austin, but the rest of Texas seems a little much for me. Their government is batshit crazy. It’s hot as balls in the summer, most of it’s a desert so it’s kinda dusty, the whole cowboy culture is kind of the antithesis of my vibe. BIG shout out to their BBQ and authentic Mexican cooking; those are huge pluses to me. But they just made weed possession a FELONY, and you could get LIFE for a pan of THC brownies! The rest of America is trending towards full recreational and medical legalization! These people are fucking CRAZY!!!
That might tip the scales for me. Florida is in the running too, of places I’ve been. But Texas’ new stance on weed…. DONE. I’ll never set foot in that state again, on principle alone

I knew a guy who got seven years in prison for a bit of weed in Tennessee. Of course drinking yourself to death is acceptable. That's the South for ya.

@DryGermanGuy I just flew from Boston to Nashville two weekends ago. I had a package of weed in my carry-on bag that I had intended to leave in my car for when I got home. I had instead packed gummies disguised in a bottle of gummy vitamins. I’m an idiot twice over, because I forgot to actually pack the gummies; but also, I forgot to take the weed out of my bag.
I wasn’t really trippin’ about getting caught at the airport in Boston, because it’s rec legal here. The TSA checkpoint is the line between Mass jurisdiction and federal jurisdiction. So if I get caught with it AT the checkpoint, they’re just going to refer it to Mass State Police who will tell me I have to throw it away or bring it back to my car.
SOMEHOW (maybe because this brand has the nugs contained in a plastic tray inside the foil pouch), TSA didn’t catch it. And boy was I surprised when I went into my backpack the first time once I was in my seat on the plane😂
I bought a small pipe at a smoke shop when we first got there as a throw-away. I was like “welp, I’ve got three days to smoke this or give it away, because the Tennessee State Police will be in a very different mood if I try to get this back through TSA, lmao.
So I tipped a few bathroom attendants with it, and I gave some to a kid I met from Miami who had asked if I had some to sell when he saw me hit it in the bathroom of one of the bars. Blazed the rest on the balcony of our AirBnB. I was stoked to have it for a nightcap after nights of big drinking. But I definitely was fortunate how it all worked out. The Miami kid came and found me after he found some papers and let me hit his joint too, right on Broadway at like 3 AM😂 Definitely reckless in Tennessee though, hahaha

1 dI don't really know but I've heard it's Mississippi and Alabama. I've even heard some jokes like "the only good thing about Alabama is that it's not Mississippi and Alabama will never be the worst as long as Mississippi still exists."

21 hDespite the state California is in nowadays, no thanks to plundering Gavin Newscum and his many cohorts, I still love my home state because there still is a lot of "beauty to behold" here.
California is probably not suitable for those who can't afford to be here.
10 Reply I lived in a few states.. I am pretty sure California is not the worst.. but it’s kinda of a different country from other states 😄.. also it’s definitely more expensive.. but it has the most beautiful weather and nature..

1 dI'M from California🤨
California is complicated. I think we have the best geography, history and culture in the U. S. But it's not a good place to live or have a career and our politics are shit. California is great if you have money and connections. But it's far from the worst!
Worst is probably Mississippi.21 Reply@KostasKouvalis interesting enough

1 dThere are many candidates. California is near the top but, based on recent history, Minnesota, with its corruption, may be the worst.
