US politics has devolved to most people hurling every insult they can conjure for people of the opposing party. The better question would be: will Democrats ever be able to acknowledge the intelligence of a Republican president, and will Republicans ever be able to acknowledge the intelligence of a Democrat president?
I every day like the VP more, he is intelligent and reasonable in my view. A very decent guy, good communicator... I think he can cut it.
