US politics has devolved to most people hurling every insult they can conjure for people of the opposing party. The better question would be: will Democrats ever be able to acknowledge the intelligence of a Republican president, and will Republicans ever be able to acknowledge the intelligence of a Democrat president?

Ya give that money to someone who's not reasonable intelligent they aren't going to be able to do half the work to become as successful to the point of becoming even president.
There is plenty of rich people out there yet most don't achieve what he has, now some will be because they don't want tbf but the rest well it's cause they aren't smart enough.
Just cause you get given a lot of money don't make you instantly have skill to deal with business deals and influence that kind of power.

Well he hasn't stopped the war in Ukraine, which he said would be over as soon as he was in office again. Foreign trade is a mess. We are now in a sort-of war with Iran. I'm not sure where his negotiation skills are coming in handy.

So logic is... If one can't stop war between a major nation that has a madman with nukes running it Vs a country that doesn't one is unreasonably smart?

No, I'm not saying he isn't smart because he couldn't stop the Ukrainian war. I'm saying he is either very stupid or has no problem with spouting total BS by saying he would stop it as soon as he got back in office. Or possibly both.

Every leader to this date has claimed they'll do some BS and never do it to just get in? That's a known fact about every single one.

Just don't look up what Biden or Obama to whomever else ya know didn't do what they promised to do. It's break your chamber of bias though correction it probably wouldn't you'd find some loop of rationalization that makes sense only to you why every other leader doing that is different somehow.

Harris or Biden did not claim they would end the war if elected. They would not claim that they would drastically reduce inflation if elected (and then when they didn't, claim that inflation was a good thing). In fact nor did any of the other candidates during the primaries, save one.
