Do you keep weapons in your bedroom for home defense?

I own a gun, but I never keep it loaded, nor is it in my bedroom.

Instead, I keep 3 sets of martial arts weapons in my room: Two eskrima sticks, two Sai, and two kama.

If anyone dumb enough to break in doesn't have a gun, they're getting fucked up.

I was a jury member of a self defense case in a proud gun state and the boomers turn on the guy. As a anti gun leftist i was shocked how much I had to fight for this person. I've gathered from this you need millions of dollars to use self defense on a basic level. A class privilege disguised as a right.

Shut the fuck up and hire a lawyer. You making pre plans is going to be used against you. Shut the fuck up and you will probably be detained for a concerning amount of time. You're missing work, losing reputation, house is not being watched, if you're a nread winner familyis going hungry. Expenses with no income adds up quickly on top of lawyer fees.

At this point it's not a right anymore. It's a upper class privilege.

You have a right to personal and national defense, including planning ahead. It's called "The Second amendment".

No, Killing or maiming someone in self-defense is not a crime, especially if they also have a weapon.

A few months ago, someone broke into a home, and an 11 years old child defended himself by hitting the 19 years old thug intruder in the back of the head with a machete knife. The police and judge sided with the 11 years old and apprehended the 19 years old at the ER where he had to seek treatment at a later time.

Even if the 11 years old had KILLED the 19 years old in self-defense, it would not have been the fault of the 11 years old.

The Police in Florida tell homeowners to shoot intruders, because it makes their paperwork easier.

You have to prove your case to a jury of peers. Like I said jury on the defending side. Landlord was threatening this guy in his room with his girl on the bed. Landlord made an aggressive move girlfriend flinched and defended shot.

Your thug classification is still classified as a lower economic class. Hence still leaves you in danger of class conditions.

You blast away a political figure kid breaking into your home. how do you expect that will turn out?

No you don't have to prove anything. The burden of proof is on the Prosecutor. The defendant is assumed to be innocent until proven guilty. There is no burden of proof whatsoever on the defendant.

In a trial after you're detained. Potential months later. Months without income. Months paying lawyers. On paper you have rights in reality it is a higher class privilege.

I've been falsely accused of traffic violations and two felonies (disorderly conduct and resisting arrest*). every time, I relied on the fact I was really innocent and just used the FREE public defender. Every time the charges were eventually dropped or overturned. On the case of the two felonies, the Judge found that the officers violated my rights and that I hadn't committed any crime.

Do you know what I told the Magistrate and the Judge about the "resisting arrest" charge? I explained that I was an expert martial artist, and if I actually resisted arrest, a lightweight police officer trying to cuff me would NOT have managed to cuff me. She immediately threw out both charges.

No need, I've got door locks and mobile phones. Also, burglars are rarely stupid enough to knowingly break into occupied premises. I expect finding a gun is a bonus for them!
