Why do most people in America own only one or two houses?

They DO? That's news to me. I thought they only own one. I just know there are less homeless, because those countries don't have strict zoning/building codes. In MY country, some teenagers built themselves a "clubhouse" in the woods, Fish & Game showed up and said they can either take it down or get fined. In developing countries on the other hand, if you built an illegal house, no one is gonna come tear it down, especially if it's an entire neighborhood. Especially if it's on your own land. In developed countries, even on your own land you can't do anything without paying for a bunch of permits

Because in the poor countries are garbage houses, they probably built out of straw or palm from in America houses are a solid and heavy built and expensive very expensive almost up to $1 million dollars a house or more

When you say developing nations, do you have both hemispheres in mind. My response hinges on that. I'm not replete in that particular line of knowledge.
