Think about it like companies buying out all the available housing for men and women needing a fresh start to have a family only for the companies to raise the price.

I always make room if someone asks to sit. I dont keep my bags to prevent someone sitting on the seat. If its medium full, I keep it there until someone asks though. I dont remove it beforehand. If it gets too crowded I make room beforehand though.
