Trending & News The plastic on the couch kept the couch from getting stained and made its useful life a lot longer. That being said, plastic didn't look very good and wasn't very comfortable.
The mask on the face kept the person from getting covid and made his life a lot longer too. That being said, The mask wasn't very comfortable and it looked terrible.
All things being equal, I prefer a bit of discomfort and an unattractive appearance to both stains and death.
Couches was before my time, but what was the reason?
Like the China closet, you would only take the plastic off for certain events or special days
Plastic covers on couches sounds more uncomfortable so I’m going to vote for that.

Definitely the masks. As far as the plastic on furniture people started doing that in the 1960''s and 70'. Definitely a slippery inconvenience.
Covid masks were useful for the same reason that physicians wear masks. Covid was passed from mouth to nose.
Physician's wear N95s. Quite different.
at least putting covers on your furniture made the furniture last longer. The masks did nothing..
The couches. Masks were not inconvenient.
