I suppose my education. That is still a work in progress as I am year two of my degree. Still, I think even just the first year of being on my own has made me grow into a better person. These experiences have taught me a lot about myself and the world.

I'm financially independent and in control of my time professionally and in my personal life. Basically, no one has any leverage over me. It's a great feeling. About as "free" as I think a person can aspire to be in a society of millions of other people.

A lot. moved to a fantastic house with an unbeatable view. investments are through the roof. Just sold my old house so had money to pay off all debts (except the new house) and buy a truck. My kids are amazing and doing fantastic in life.
