And who we are will impact our ability to change in the future. You can accept that or live in denial. Our future is directly connected to our past.

You're looking at it all wrong dude. That doesn't suck. It just is. What you do with it is what matters. Yes, let go of the baggage and move forward. But that does not mean you don't use that knowledge and experience. Some of the best learning comes from hardship. And letting it go does not mean forgiveness. It means learning and not carrying that shit with you forever.

They can think what they want but others define who they are in their eyes and others will judge them on hand of their past. People are very realistic and pragmatic in matter of judging others if their ego is not affected with emotional defense mechanics which switch one when they are center of topic.

@Skyros @purplepoppy Yes, I agree with that and the 'purpleone', in that people can change for the better, and I applaud myself every day for that fact. My life and persona changed 100 degrees when leaving my home state for California.

It shouldn't be disregarded. Everyone makes mistakes but the mistake was in vain if you never learn from it. It's why we have history class, if we never learn it then we are doomed to repeat it.
