Obviously Agree
Somewhat agree depends on if they are broke now
Disagree I think most people would actually be extra cautious or be in shock that it would be suspicious

Trending & News obviously. they did not work for it so they would gamble lottery tickets and those scratch offs! buy luxury for thousands. that is the problem with government HANDOUTS. and free medicine and any socialism.
a rich man told his kid 'i will match if you show me 100$' kid opened his drawer and showed a birthday gift.
pa said: i mean you work for it.
kid argued: i do chores for allowance.
pa said i mean real work. kid got a job. a month later kid realized he had not gone to pa to get the 'match' of the 100$ but also did not care anymore.
Most people when faced with an unexpected windfall will use it to meet their priorities. Those priorities are often based on their current socio economic position,
Of course these are generalities, and there are some exceptions. But in general you can determine someone's financial position by asking them to rank the following in importance to them: comfort, security and wealth the key answer is where they put comfort, poor put it first, middle class second and wealthy last. Those also determine where they spend unexpected money.

most... I don't think so
I think most people have some bills to pay, so at least... they would do that first
second, I think that the people who have less or no debt, or paid their debts and have some left to spend... they would do so on something fun maybe? but that's not recklessly
based on where I live, and the people around me... those spend money stupidly, are the less... not the most of them
Normally i'd agree. But did you oil spike over 100 dollars a barrel today? I think in this current climate most would be apt to save it. But even if they didn't that's not entirely a bad thing. It pumps it right back into the economy. Which as a stockholder i'm always for. Especially after today.
Most people I know who have received inheritances have found ways to spend most of it within a few years.
I don't know about others, but I'd tack it onto my last CD renewal before the end of Sept deadline.
Most guys would spend it on booze and loose women. The rest they would spend foolishly
The poor would blow it then complain the rich got richer because they invested theirs.
Unfortunately, I agree.
Not most, but some, yes
Most people would pay off debts, car payments, loans, mortgages first.
Yep, pretty much lol
