russia sent hundreds of tanks including updated t72, when Russian forces tried to capture Kyiv and Kharkiv (Ukraine's 2nd-largest city) in 2022, but Ukraine blocked. in fact many russian t90 were lost by kharkiv.

russia was too weak -even with its many tanks to get the major cities. ukraine blocked them and pushed them out with heavy losses of tanks and troops. we saw how weak russian army was.

ukraine was stronger: retook most of region in 2022. russia failed to conquer the 2 cities and was too weak. ukraine was stronger -blocking the attack. russia was weaker not blocking but lost land.

we really really overestimated -russia strength just based on big numbers. russia failed and failed. and was weak and weaker.

also russias newest t 90! in The 2022 Battle of Kharkiv: Internal Russian documents captured by Ukrainian forces revealed: russia lost 9 of its 31 T-90A tanks. and more later. even its newest were too weak. the old is even weaker. but more evidence: Oryx has visually verified, by now, the loss of over 200 Russian T-90 tanks including more than 140 of the advanced T-90M.

similarly russia does want lots of land and demanded several oblasts! and Russian forces invaded Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. but, Ukraine pushed them back and recaptured most of those border territories. russia did not even come near City of Dnipro. nor capture Kryvyi Rih there.

Russian forces occupy most of Zaporizhzhia region (oblast) in southern Ukraine. they claim all of it but again were to weak to get the major city: Zaporizhzhia. Ukraine was stronger -blocked attack. russia was again too weak.

russia tried and failed each of 5 most important cities. not just capital kyiv that russia failed before we helped ukraine!

russia demands more land more oblasts. it wants lots of land but is too weak. maybe it is as weak as romania. sounds about right?

Russia definitely has the capability of producing modern equipment on par with western forces of at least the 2000 era but has demonstrated that it can't produce them in any real numbers that matter and anything they do produce are basically designs from 1970 or 1980 with basically a new paint job like the SU35 which is just the SU27.

Russian main battle tanks are so inferior that western APCs can take them out.

true even the small shells from bradly apc etc. were enough.
about building. china won't g give hi tec chips because they want russia weak to sell oil cheap. so only help a little. despite bff!

Russia is a competitor to China not an ally. China wants the land Russia stole during their great humiliation.

Russia after decades of exporting AK47s around the world had to import them for the Ukraine war.

good examples! everyone was grabbing china land in 1800s &1900s. soviet grabbing west china xinxiang however you spell it?
germany grabbed east china and lost it in ww1- to japan. who took more and more.
russia grabbed the part east of amur river held by ming like you said great humiliation. russia and china are far from friends but talk like friends to unite against the west while 'pushing each other down'.

Russia has that last piece the chinese want. Even taiwan is not as important because its technically in Chinese hands.
The big problem Russia has now was that b4 the war they did have a large number of quality troops and special forces, now they are gone so they are relying on conscripts to replace the good soldiers they wasted.
