As if nothing else about someone matters, except their age. 'If you're this age, you're good, but if you're this age, you're not good'. I weigh about 15 pounds more today than I did 40 years ago, I'm in better health because I quit smoking 10 years ago, and if I wanted to go through the aggravation of dying my hair, I would look almost exactly the same, but some of these folks think I'm from another planet or something. No one ever believes that they'll eventually get older, but if you take care of yourself, it's not the disaster that so many people think it is.

they are so used to doctors, teachers and other people that have authority telling them that we become more vulnerable as we age.
something tells me that's I'm going to join you next year when I go back to get my black belt that I failed to get when I was a kid
I know, right? It kind of reminds me of when I used to sell cars, and that universal belief that when a car has 100,000 miles on it, it's going to fall apart if you don't get rid of it immediately, but people drive cars with 200k plus miles all the time, especially nowadays.
exactly, any car can go beyond 200K if you take care of it and replace parts regularly. luckily we dont need to replace our parts, we can just workout and they will automatically upgrade with us
i see no problem with growing/being old however just cause we got more time doesn't mean we should lose our sense of urgency!
lmao i literally asked the same question on a completely unrelated forum. personally, i got 0 problem with aging, everything one does, they do better as they go along, so why would i worry about having more experience? lol
Because it's the only acceptable point of segregation in education
