I don't think one more or one less founding father would have made much difference. The fundamental flaw in this country at its founding was slavery. Half the colonies wanted it and the other half were ambivalent towards it even if they didn't like it. That schism has been dividing us and dragging us down for 250 years. One person would not have convinced Southern slave owners to give up their slave based wealth.

For the fun I once wrote down my own 'Declaration of Independence', and also worked out a 'Constitution'.

Sadly, no one had joined my nation yet.

If I'd participate to ''found'' the U. S., it would now be in a better shape.

And it was useful. While ''working'' on it I got some surprising insights: Some things I generally dislike in how countries are organized are actually necessary to make them last. And it also revealed a few 'constitutional' decorations that don't really mean something deep (i. e.: a nation does not NEED a flag, or a national anthem).

I am mostly happy with my founding fathers (different to yours). I would only want to get involved if I thought I could have done better.
