Why are men expected to protect women but women aren’t expected to protect men?

Women not only don't protect men, but they also actively harm us through divorce courts, false accusations, child support, visitation, and financial difficulties. Why is it okay for women to do this, and yet a man who harms a woman winds up in serious trouble?

Gender roles.

It's why HISTORICALLY women were expected to shoulder more of the emotional burden in relationships. And that probably wasn't right either. But for 2000+ years. The recipe worked. We can argue about this. But the family stucture did not crumble like it has the in past 75 years. or so.

Personally. I think the problem is most PEOPLE today are just very selfish and self absorbed. The bible says that "in the end days people will become lovers of SELF". I'm not trying to say we've reached the end of the line. But we are headed that direction. The world never need Jesus's love more than right now.

I don't care whether women want relationships with men or not. But if they have no intention of loving him i think they should just leave him alone.

Being stronger doesn't help.. Thousands of years have passed, and it's no longer a tradition. It's just an expectation. Can you give me any reason why it should continue?
