Why am I encountering anti-Black prejudice among Mexican Americans in Los Angeles?

It doesn’t matter if they are fully or mixed with Mexican they always seem to team up against a African American person and Los Angeles seems to be about the worst place to exist if you aren’t Asian, white, Indian, or Mexican. If you have color and you have opposite of what they have they turn hateful. I don’t remember being this bad I don’t know if it’s Los Angeles or they are angry because what’s happening now. No matter the county or city and it’s worse on the west side. I just don’t understand what is their issue and why do they carry hatred. A lot of them seem to walk around with a chip on their shoulder mostly men while women mean mug you or make fun of you.

You may be from somewhere that’s not ghetto and don’t have the ghetto mentality. They may be stereotyping you and anticipating that you do. A lot of black and Mexican people that grew up in L. A. , the hood, ghetto, housing projects, poor neighborhoods etc have the ghetto or hood mentality. It’s always been the blacks versus the Mexicans on the street, with the gangs, and in jail. Especially in Los Angeles.

The black and Mexican kids at my high school used to have giant brawls where there would be like 30 or 40 of each of them beating the shit out of each other
