Do people still notice how many good people quietly help others?

I was visiting someone at the hospital these last two days and I was surprised by the large number of volunteers who help out there. I know you have small groups of people that offer hundreds of hours of unpaid labour for others every year, but at the hospital, these volunteers were over a hundred. And this was just one hospital out of many. As well I saw people with humongous cars, making $15.00 an hour as uber drivers, they chose an honest living, over asking strangers for money, even if they make less than minimum wage.
