Whatever. I am tired of fighting against the world that insists that human nature is evil. If we disable all of our animalistic instincts then there is no sense of brother hood, no sense of love and care left. It is part of our animal nature. It's just that low iq sheep believe that they aren't animalistic by being balanced. and other low iq sick fucks who although acknowledge that they are animalistic but have no morals as if human animals cannot be moral. ㅤ

Well, I would remove the "good people" logic from this because everybody is capable of making mistakes and bad judgment calls. There are, however, kind-hearted and genuine people, and I think many of them tend to have few close friends, one friend, or sometimes no friends at all.

Part of that is because genuinely kind people are often people who have experienced a great deal of suffering themselves. When you've been through enough, you tend to find out who is actually willing to stand by you when things get difficult. Sometimes only a few people remain, and for some people, nobody does.

Kind people also aren't necessarily the nicest people all the time. Sometimes being kind means being honest with someone, even when the truth isn't what they want to hear. Most people don't particularly enjoy being confronted with uncomfortable truths.

I've also found that genuinely sincere people tend to be quieter, more observant, and less interested in gossip. A lot of social interaction is built around talking about other people, sometimes negatively, because it gives people something to bond over. Someone who doesn't participate in that may naturally have a smaller social circle.

And as for why people take advantage of them, I think it's because kindness can sometimes come with a willingness to go beyond yourself for someone else without expecting anything in return. Most people won't take advantage of that, but some will. That's where having boundaries becomes important. Being willing to help people is a good quality, but you still have to know when you're being helpful and when someone is simply taking from you.

No, I wouldn't say that most people never take advantage of good people. I'm saying I don't think "good people" and "people who get taken advantage of" are automatically the same thing. People are complicated, and everyone is capable of being selfish, making bad decisions, or taking advantage of someone when given the opportunity.

What I do think is that genuinely kind and giving people can be more vulnerable to being taken advantage of because they're often willing to go beyond themselves for other people without expecting anything in return. Some people recognize that and reciprocate it, while others recognize it and exploit it.

That's also why I think kindness without boundaries can become a problem. Being a good person doesn't mean allowing people to use you. You can care about someone, forgive them, and still tell them no. In fact, learning when to say no is probably one of the most important things genuinely good people can learn.

Honestly I think most people are assholes and most people take advantage of good people. It is good for a good person to have boundaries but when someone doesn't, it doesn't mean it is ok for people to still take advantage. That is like blaming someone that is too drunk for getting sexually assaulted. I do have boundaries now and I'm still a good person but it pisses me off how most people are. I think most people take advantage of people without boundaries.

Not sure about that, you're probably right, but most of the people I surround myself with are genuinely great people. I also live in a state where gun ownership is pretty common, and I've noticed that people tend to be polite and respectful toward each other.

When I lived in a state with much stricter gun laws and fewer people around me who owned firearms, I personally felt like people were more comfortable acting like complete assholes because they didn't perceive the same potential consequences for their behavior. Obviously, that's just my personal experience and there are plenty of other factors that could explain the difference, but it was definitely something I noticed.

I think it is just a coincidence. Because the gun states which I'm assuming for people to talking about most of the time in the Midwest and south, tend to have the cultural or fake politeness. Even if there wasn't guns that would be the culture there because that is how they are but a lot of it is fake. Midwesterners and Southerners are known to be two faced as hell. California where I live shit load of people are fake too but it is nowhere to the extend of Midwest and south. South and Midwest are notorious for inviting people they don't like to barbecues, etc.

There will always be people who look for kindness they can take advantage of and exploit you if you let them. That's why boundaries are important. You can be a good person without letting people walk all over you...

And it is good for people to have boundaries but just because someone doesn't, doesn't mean it is ok for someone to take advantage and it makes them an asshole to do that. Bad People call out "marks" for a reason. To sell and share with others in the small market. Problem is it's a global size market and even small groups hurts a lot of people globally.
