Can the Garvaghy Road dispute be resolved without provoking more anger?

The Catholic side is entitled to their view. No unionist march down their street.

The unionist side is just provoking them
It's like they are immature and want to prove a point

But the answer they are getting is:

oh both sides, each one will get angry "ired" - if they are forced to concede. Recent negotiations broke down without an agreement on October 2, 2026. so talks failed. Both factions remain "steadfast in belfast" -deeply entrenched positions on both sides. the solution is "not go there" because the not going is passive but- going actively provokes. so that solution will anger them! but is the proper solution.

a protest is not merely driving on a public road. the message is 'dont provoke' not 'you are unimportant'. protest in a park with a permit not in a residential place.

Look at the history of it.

Years ago, people were locked up inside their homes unable to leave for days.

Years ago the Unionist murdered 3 children in their beds over this and threw a pipe bomb through a window of a family. The brave mother picked it up and ran outside of her home with it saving her family though losing her life. She also turned out to be a Protestant woman.

The real question is why now? Is it to do with the upcoming election or public opposition to the mass immigration problem and crime?

Elections are coming up and the previous leader of DUP has been caught up in a massive sex scandal that involves his own daughters when they were children, friends of the daughter and others. Their voters are disgusted.
Sinn Feinn has been supporting uncontrolled immigration on both sides of the boarder and their voters are appalled.
After a migrant was caught trying to cut off another's head there were joint republican unionist protests in northern Ireland that mirror those in the republic of Ireland and protests involving increased violent crime, rape, evictions and massive migrant welfare Bill.
After 30 years of the parades commission the overturned the ban on the march only for the high court to up hold the ban and then in the early hours after midnight the high court once again changed the ruling to allow the march 8 or so hours before it was due to take place. Residents of the garvaghy road protested and blocked the streets but this time unlike in the past police refused to remove them and force the march through.

Sinn Fein is the biggest party in northern Ireland, if anything this will get them more votes as they basically stood their ground at the protest, including the first minister.
Its the DUP that are losing votes and the DUP that's basically the only major party in all of Ireland opposed to the British and irish government's immigration policy.
