I think of snails, then ocean crabs, then theatres, then visitors, than architecture, then music, then palaces, and last of all I think of the language, which I was told is noticeably different from the French spoken in Quebec, Canada. I am not fluent enough to know how French is distinct there.

Right now riots and fires. Before that, Marseille. I would think of that because they were overrun years ago. France is not a happy thought. It is a thought of a crumbling country that was once great. They burn French schools and churches today. Tomorrow it will be French culture, language, art, history, food… everything. It will not survive in 100 years.
