Not if the person is like 6'1 or higher. It's tall to me because I'm 5'4 but it's short to someone above 5'11.

My mom was called American height when she was young but the average height is 5'3. Maybe people assume that all white people are American. They might see a Dutch woman and assume she’s American. or white American women are actually tall like 5'7
