We are spending money instead of America losing American lives in bulk. I will pay money instead of Americans losing their lives on foreign soil.

So you're saying that you want the U. S. contributing less to Ukraine than the other NATO nations do.
That's keeping in mind that we used to contribute lots of very useful military equipment... but that was largely obsolete and costing money to store, all the while other NATO nations were contributing much in the way of financial resources. - 3 d
The DEFENSE organization NATO plays no role in the Ukraine war. I explained that to you a dozen times already. How do you even function in daily life?
- 3 d
@DryGermanGuy Only certain NATO countries are paying for it and the money is funneled through NATO. The important thing is that the US in no longer the sole financer of this.
- 3 d
The money is not funneled though NATO and the US never was the sole financer. Europe has already spent 25 billion more than the US, plus gave a loan over another 90 billion €. Freedom against tyranny has its costs, it's rather weird having to explain that to an American.
- 3 d
@DryGermanGuy then US funded the whole thing while Biden was president. Hunter Biden was paid 1.5 million dollars as a board member of a Ukrainian energy company. By his own admission he knew nothing about the oil business and new nothing about Ukraine. However, now Zalensky had leverage with the "Big Guy" and every time he was running short of funds Joe would send him a 20 billion dollar check.
- 3 d
AGAIN: Europe matched the U. S.'s expenditure every step of the way and more. Which should be part of the United States' fight for democracy in general and their adherence to the Budapest memorandum in particular. No idea how and why Hunter Biden has any relevance whatsoever, of the DoJ thinks he has done something illegal, then indict him and impeach Joe Biden. What's the holdup? Can't reach Jordan Jim and Comer Pyle? What a bummer.

Russia has targeted American businesses in Ukraine. One of my major problems with Trump is he never provides any disincentive for Russia to do anything. We could be giving Ukraine more support when Russia attacks American businesses or invades NATO countries as a disincentive. Instead, our just endlessly forgives Russia and blames Ukraine despite that the only treaties Russia has been okay with would have made it far easier to conquer Ukraine in the future.
Russia has attacked NATO countries though, so small-scale strikes directly from the U. S. would be a way to discourage that. I suspect you could just accomplish everything better with just giving Ukraine aid again.
10 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It's not about war. It's about printing money the heads of government trade there people for money
Look at all the technology that USA gave to Ukraine and basically Russia war is a printing press for money and the biggest Liars get free technology and more money from the US22 Reply- 5 d
Try looking at it in another way.
Remember when Russia had the Olympics they were broke but they built all these facilities
Remember when Biden took all Putin and wealthy people in Russia their money
War is nothing but a money-making machine if you're low on money print more
When Biden was in office Ukraine would come to United States to get money now you don't hear about it anymore but they have America's airplanes tanks all the weaponry will Russia has the same thing now it's nothing but a big game that innocent people die for they think they're serving their country and they are in their hearts but what it boils down to is nothing but money and greed and it's the people that pay the price not our governments it's sick
1.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. @Melanie31 Dangerous move. Germany is already in conflict with Russia for allegedly trying to help Ukraine, and Putin, the moron, is saber rattling about that. A united front with Germany, U. S. Britian, Australia and a few other countries might deter Putin.

6 dAmerica has just done an oil deal with Russia. That windfall for Putin will go straight into killing Ukrainians. The USA has made it very clear it's on Russias side.
411 Reply- 5 d
The entire deal is a sham. US companies buying diesel from Russia, while shipping 1.2 million barrels of diesel a day out of the country? But you're correct, Trump is basically sucking Putin's dick, still and yet again, like he always has. Zelensky will get backing from the EU, and hopefully Trump will drop dead pretty soon.
- 5 d
@Pterodon Well, they've been giving us military intelligence. We'd had close militaristic cooperation with them. We're not treating them like our allies anymore. We've been sort of pulling the rug out from under them that way, like with the diesel trading deal, and several months ago Trump briefly halting intelligence sharing which caused some Ukranian deaths and Trump spreading Russian misinformation.
So I don't know if we're allies anymore. - 5 d
@loveslongnails But Trump does sell weapons to NATO, which in turn sends them to Ukraine.
- 3 d
@NoDecision Hmmm... so someone is arming both sides of a conflict? What a novel idea. We've never done that before, right? LOL

5 dAbsolutely not! In fact, I think it's time the US stopped sticking its nose in everyone else's business. With all the $trillions in debt, the US could possibly go bankrupt. Then everything would go to hell as our own troops and police would not be paid. Anarchy would take over. Do you think that if the US were somehow invaded, like in Red Dawn, that they would send us money or help? In your dreams.

6 dAmerica should just stay out of it not give a dime to either side. Let the rest of the world handle it so I can sit back in my favorite armchair and criticize everything they do.

Why? Who gives a mother fuck about them? All that money could be used for America and Americans. I thought you liberals were all about love tolerance and peace. I’ve now seen that you really like war. Under Biden the Ukrainians asked for certain weapons that could have made a difference but Biden wouldn’t let them have it. He didn’t want the war to end. He only gave them enough so they wouldn’t lose not to win and keep the war going. He didn’t the same with Israel. He said publicly we were solidly behind them but then he sat back and started taking potshots at Israel and telling them everything they’re doing wrong to the ragheads and then has the audacity to put Palestinian flags on the white house. Nor would he give them 2,000 lb bunker buster bombs to destroy the tunnels. Once again anything to keep blood flowing. The democrats are a culture of death. They’re even pro choice to the day of delivery.
2 dTo be honest we shouldn’t be involved in that war when we have another we should focus with Iran. I feel Ukraine can hold their own and so far they even we have helped a little but unless we end are war with Iran we shouldn’t get in another war especially with bigger and stronger country that could end up in a World War III with two super power countries.

In case one brings up Iran, they have been killing Americans for 45 years.
