Do you believe there should be more people in jail or on death row?

[Chazmatazz269]

Neither. There shouldn’t be a “death row”. As soon as you’re convicted of a capital crime, you’re walked directly to your execution. 100% of violent recidivists should be sentenced to death.
Every execution should be held publicly and every criminal convicted of one violent crime should be forced to watch. Remind them what they’re in for if they refuse to get their sh*t together.

In the US we did that for a couple of centuries. Many innocent people were murdered after false convictions. The US is one of very few developed countries that still allows capital punishment.

[Chazmatazz269]

No, we really didn’t. First of all, no “innocent” person gets convicted of the same crime multiple times. My premise is based on recidivism of violent criminals. Second, comparing our current justice system which is STILL designed to favor the accused in almost every way, AND the current capabilities of widespread surveillance systems even WITHOUT “Flock” cameras, as well as DNA evidence and reformed interrogation techniques, comparing that to an ancient system of accusations and convictions based almost entirely on eyewitness accounts is mad stoopid. You aren’t nearly as smart as you think you are, sir. You need to read more before posting this kind of ignorant crap.

[slatyb]

Ancient? It continues today.

[slatyb]

In the US? We already have a higher percentage of our people in prison than almost any other country.

[jennifer_bloom]

Yes. It is disgusting how many judges let dangerous criminals out of prison. I believe those judges deserve capital punishment for putting people’s lives at risk.

[exitseven]

the people convicted of fist degree murder should be executed.

[Pterodon]

Especially the ones the democrats let out of prison or were soft on crime with
