It’s pretty much a mental breakdown that makes people think they are missing out on things , especially when they already experienced the same things over and over in life , they feel they need a change in their life , it’s usually when cheating and affairs occur , or they spend a lot of money on things they always wanted like a sports car or a luxurious vacation , etc, that they never spent money on before , they also completely ignore their partners’ feelings , like they all of a sudden want to be single again. My ex wife is going through it now , part of the reason why she is my ex , she became very selfish and no longer cared about me , everyone else was more important to her than I was. She became friends’ with a girl that was just like her , selfish and snooty , they are perfect for each other , they were taking trips together and immediately excluding me , Ii was all of a sudden no longer her priority , She basically became an attention whore , by wanting attention from other men all of a sudden and comparing me to other men like I was no longer a good husband to her. She basically lost her fucking mind and I no longer wanted her ass from it. Girls’ usually experience it during the time she is going through menopause , when her body is going through changes. She turned into someone I really didn’t know anymore. She also stopped sleeping in bed with me and made herself her own bedroom down in the basement , that’s when I knew something was off , Her head was all over the place not knowing what the fuck she wanted anymore. I basically just turned into a convenience to her and a room mate , until I put a stop to that shit. Men pretty much can experience the same thing with losing their fucking mind , thinking they are missing out on things. Another reason I am now looking for a younger girl , so I don’t go through that shit again anytime soon 😂

5 dMidlife crisis happens when a person questions all the time, energy and money that they have invested in their lives and livelihoods but seem to feel unfulfilled as a result. It can happen to anyone who is unpracticed at counting their blessings.
Practice gratitude and acceptance and you will never have a midlife crisis.10 Reply
A midlife crisis is a period when someone begins questioning their life choices, achievements, relationships, or sense of identity, often because they become more aware of aging and the passage of time. They may start wondering whether they're truly happy, whether they've accomplished what they wanted, or whether they've missed opportunities. And yes, women can experience a midlife crisis just as men can. For example, a woman might begin questioning her marriage, career, appearance, or life goals. She may feel that she's spent years taking care of others and now wants to rediscover herself. She might change careers, pursue new interests, reconsider a relationship, or make significant lifestyle changes.
The important distinction is that questioning your life doesn't necessarily mean you're having a crisis. Sometimes, it's simply a natural part of personal growth, a chance to reconsider your priorities and decide what you want the next chapter of your life to look like.

u 5 dMidlife means not being able to avoid confronting the fact of your ultimate mortality, and the fact that you have probably already lived more than half of your life. A midlife crisis means that a person is panicking about those facts. Yes, women can have that experience.

4 dIt is that point in life where we start to think, "Is what I am doing in my life really what I want to continue doing? Could I be happier living my life differently? What changes should I make in my life?"
I went through that series of personal questioning when I was in my early 40s and I was in a lot of career turmoil. Also when I was 39 and into 40 I was dating a lovely lady and it was going well, but she was interested in raising a family. I was not on the same page, mainly because of the turmoil with my career at the time. I had to let that relationship go and that contributed to my midlife issues. It really wasn't that big of a thing with me but I certainly learned what midlife issues could be.
One thing I remember, I was in an area that had casinos, on a trip. I stopped at a huge one, and went in, looking for a progressive slot when the jackpot would be at least $2 million. I found one and put in $5 with the intent of only betting ONE time. Coincidentally is hit a $60 payout and I cashed it out and walked out. LOL... But if I had won the $2 million I told myself I would quit my job... 😂
00 Reply A midlife crisis is a period of introspection in which individuals reassess their achievements, relationships, and overall sense of purpose as they become increasingly aware of their mortality and the passage of time. It can affect women just as much as men, although the experience may differ depending on personal circumstances and societal expectations. Some may struggle with regret, insecurity, or a sense of unfulfillment, while others feel compelled to redefine their priorities and pursue new opportunities

4 dTo me it means when you are half way through your life and wondering if you are truly living it to the fullest. It is confronting your limited time on this planet and wondering if there is more to it than that, do the stuff you want to do before dying.
You only have one life, so there’s a lot of pressure to get it right and I can see a lot of women having it too. It is stereotypically a man thing, just because something is a “man thing” doesn’t stop the ladies from feeling or being interested in it, take sports or cars or anything traditionally masculine.
Do you love your job? Do you love yourself? Do you want some fulfillment and trying new things? Answer those and make a positive change where applicable, live your best life.
Make the most out of your life and time on this Earth now.00 Reply - 3.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
5 dIt means awareness of time passing just hit you like a ton of bricks and now you're panicking about the things you never did, looking back at your life so far, and forward at the time you have left. A career you thought would have moved faster, a marriage that isn't what you thought it would be, kids that are struggling in school, maybe health problems you never thought about before. Opportunities lost. Relationships that never were. And then you buy a Corvette and a motorcycle, have an affair, and book a trip to Tahiti.

A midlife crisis can happen to anyone, men and women. And there is no specific age. It depends on the individual and their circumstances. I've seen it happen at 35 and 55.
1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Midlife Crisis.. they are everywhere here 5555 , it is amusing sometimes.
Sure can affect women , BUT.. farso more in these men , I reckon at 45 - 55 it really hits some of these men..
At 50 odd , I did it but not with possessions was sexually as I think I figured ( subconsciously ) how long can I go this hard and still perform really well?
I think women accept things better generally , and that's driven by the body - menopause , and boy do you notice that , no matter what HR , incredibly sexual women who Id known for years , conversation changes.
Anyhow , yeah it's different but happens to both , with men it's about reproduction and that ability , in essence anyhow.00 Reply
4 dMidlife Crisis defines a common occurrence among men who have reached the age range of 45 to 50. It is often accompanied by elicit affairs to validate virility. It was more common during the 60's and 70's due to more stay at home wives. However, with the equalization of sexual mores for men and women, It is not a term that is used much anymore. Women have their Cougars and Men chose younger women. Basically ther same cause, older age.

I honestly don't think I have time to do that if I do it's maybe a minute a day but life is what it is I have no regrets it will start it will finish I will have a choice to walk into the light and that means to come back here and I think I've done my duty. or walk into the darkness until there's light that is to go home and live my life up there wherever there is
00 Reply6.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Of course it can happen to women -- they realize that they have spent their entire lives serving their church, their husband, their children, and done nothing for themselves. I knew a woman who stayed married until the last child graduated high school, then filed for divorce.
00 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. @Kelly6 Kelly, never really understood what a 'midlife crisis' is/was? Somehow supposedly, men reach midlife (45 +) and somehow think their life is over or was somewhow wasted to that point? Guess it is a mindset, that some men get at that point, and I guess it CAN happen to women.
00 Replyit simply means that you don't want to lose your youth so you do things to reclaim your youth, like maybe dressing younger than your age or buying a sports car and yes, it can happen to women. Women wear makeup that's too young style for them or dress too young for their age or a hairstyle that's too young for their age.
00 Reply338 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It can happen to both sexes. It is a period of emotional strain and self-questioning affecting adults in midlife. Questioning their identity, choices and life direction. It can involve anxiety of mortality, dissatisfaction & strong urge to make changes!

5 dTo me, the midlife crisis is about questions like "What have I done in the past?" or "Did I live every second of this life consciously?" There are many people—often from chaotic family backgrounds who have struggled to survive by working constantly, never taking a vacation; that crisis is precisely what those people experience.

5 dA midlife crisis is when you realize you are too old to be a kid but you don't feel old... Yet. Both men and women may experience a midlife crisis.

5 dYes, absolutely. women experience them too,
Women are feeling stuck, unexplained sadness or irritability, losing interest in things you used to love, or feeling like you’ve lost your sense of self
It’s not a breakdown; it’s a breakthrough. It is your mind pushing you to let go things not useful for you.00 Reply734 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Of course it can... it happens when you realize you have fewer good days behind you than ahead of you. If you have not done what you wanted with your life a crisis is a possibility.
00 ReplyI don't see why a woman couldn't have a midlife crisis similarly to men. Do you feel like you're having one?
