I think every stage of life is important. Youth was great. A time of innocence, rapid growth, and learning. The years after formal education are the crucible that teach you to compete for a career. For a mate. And for economic security. The years of parenthood teach you a lot about yourself as you help other other little humans do what you've done. And and your 40's and 50's are (hopefully) where you have resources you never had earlier in life and you've attained your professional goals. Things slow down a bit. You can enjoy life at as slower pace for the first time. It's all just a part of a whole.
Well the answer is extremely subjective... could be overrated depending on who you ask and can also be underrated depending on who you ask. In general though the notion that your life will suck after youth is over is bullshit. Happiness has nothing to do with age. For some people life gets better and better as they get older while for others it gets worse and worse. So it's all personal.
the window of prime is getting narrower and narrower each day... like nowadays some 11yo buys cleanser and spf30 at mall for themselves? it just baffles me
me personally i feel my 30s will be better
I can’t tell if the 20s are living the 30s life or the 30s are living the 20s life
i know right? we have now reality shows where 40yo act like teenagers and social media where some 12yo is behaving likwe she knows the world inside out
Everyone wants to have a magic redo of life with their current knowledge and compound interest the rewards.
Not everyone
Even a bad childhood. Know the right things to say earlier in life. Know how to duck and dodge better. When and who to call for help.
Some situations are so complicated in life no one wants to go back and think what they should’ve done because the situation is so complex they still don’t know.
They’re just in shock that they somehow made it through after all that
In terms of they survived it
Maybe it's my giant guy privilege and the agency it grants. Add a free do over ill be unstoppable.
From all the 7 stages of grief that come back again and again is bargaining. Just one missing puzzle piece and everything will be better. I know this now and if I capitalize it earlier I could change everything.
"Youth is wasted on the young." is perhaps the most accurate adage that has ever been written.
When you're attractive youth gives you additional magic. Having this buff is an advantage.
No , it was not always pretty and most of the time it was not easy but it was a lot better than being old
Nope. But then again i had a great youth. I just think (not to quote a baz luhrman song) people do not understand the power and beauty of their youth until it fails them.
I had a terrible childhood and still enjoyed my youth
I didn't realize there was a rating system
Yes it is
